Veracocha is the trance collaboration of Dutch producers Ferry Corsten and Vincent de Moor. Their signature release, “Carte Blanche”, first appeared in 1999 and became one of the defining melodic trance records of its era.
Driven by its instantly recognisable lead melody, extended build and euphoric breakdown, “Carte Blanche” captured the uplifting sound that helped trance reach a wider international audience at the end of the 1990s. The single reached No. 22 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 3 on the UK Dance Singles Chart, establishing Veracocha as an enduring name in classic trance.
Although both producers developed successful careers through their own releases and other aliases, their work together as Veracocha remains particularly celebrated by DJs, collectors and electronic music fans. More than two decades after its original release, “Carte Blanche” continues to appear in trance sets and retrospectives devoted to the genre’s most influential records
