Sash!
A 90s Dance Icon
SASH! is a German electronic dance project formed by producers Ralf Kappmeier, Thomas Lüdke and Sascha Lappessen.
The project achieved international success during the second half of the 1990s, developing a sound that crossed trance, Eurodance and house while frequently incorporating international vocalists and multilingual vocals.
Their breakthrough Encore Une Fois was followed by a remarkable succession of releases, with Ecuador becoming one of their most recognisable records.
Rather than being confined to 90s nostalgia, the SASH! catalogue continues to attract new listeners and vinyl collectors. Its combination of melody and dancefloor energy has given many of the group's biggest records a longevity that few releases from the period achieved.
For collectors of 90s dance vinyl, classic trance and Eurodance, SASH! remains an essential artist.
