Jerome Isma-Ae is a Munich-born DJ and producer known for a distinctive progressive sound that combines elements of house, trance and techno. His productions are characterised by powerful basslines, detailed percussion, gradual tension and cinematic melodic layers.

Music formed part of Isma-Ae’s life from an early age. He studied piano before playing bass in a heavy-metal band, experiences that contributed to the wide range of influences later heard throughout his electronic work. He released his first techno productions during the mid-1990s through the German label Delirium Records.

In 1995, Isma-Ae formed the house project Future Funk with Marcel Krieg. The project became the first German act to release music through the influential New York house label Strictly Rhythm.

His international reputation grew through original productions and remixes. A 2002 remix of the Nightcrawlers classic Push the Feeling On reached number one on the US Billboard Dance Chart, while Underwater Love received the Best Chill Out Track award at the 2009 Beatport Music Awards.

His catalogue includes collaborations with artists such as Ilan Bluestone, Mark Sixma, Alastor and Alex M.O.R.P.H., alongside releases through Armada Music, Anjunabeats and Toolroom Records. He also established Jee Productions as a platform for his progressive electronic sound.

Having performed across hundreds of cities around the world, Jerome Isma-Ae remains recognised for productions that bridge progressive house and trance while retaining a powerful, club-focused identity.
