Lange Vinyl Records

Lange is a British DJ and producer whose music helped shape the sound of trance at the turn of the millennium. Early releases and remixes established his blend of driving rhythms, memorable melodies and vocal hooks. Tracks including Follow Me and Drifting Away became enduring favourites with trance listeners, while his remix work reached artists such as Faithless and Pet Shop Boys.

Released in 2001, Drifting Away pairs Lange’s production with Skye’s vocal. The track reached a wider audience beyond the club scene and has continued to inspire new interpretations. Lange’s catalogue also includes Out of the Sky with Sarah Howells and the albums Better Late Than Never, Harmonic Motion and We Are Lucky People.

Alongside his own productions, Lange founded Lange Recordings in 2004 and developed the Intercity radio show. His work has moved between uplifting trance, progressive sounds and other strands of electronic music, while keeping the melodic energy that runs through his best-known records.
