Fedde Le Grand is a Dutch DJ, producer and remixer known for his distinctive blend of house, electro house, tech house and progressive electronic music.

He achieved his international breakthrough in 2006 with Put Your Hands Up For Detroit. Built around a direct vocal hook and driving electronic groove, the track crossed from clubs into the mainstream and reached number one on the UK Singles Chart.

Its success established Fedde Le Grand as an internationally recognised producer and helped define the energetic electro-house sound that became prominent throughout the second half of the 2000s.

Music and career

Following his breakthrough, Fedde Le Grand continued releasing original productions and remixes. His catalogue includes tracks such as Let Me Think About It with Ida Corr, The Creeps with Camille Jones, Let Me Be Real, Metrum and So Much Love.

His production style combines club-focused rhythms, precise electronic arrangements and memorable vocal or melodic elements. Alongside his own records, he has produced remixes for artists from across electronic and mainstream music.

Fedde Le Grand released his debut studio album, Output, in 2009. His second studio album, Something Real, followed in 2016.
