Release Notes: First official reissue of this iconic disco anthem with a remaster from the original tapes of John Morales. A Leroy Burgess production of the highest order, “Barely Breaking Even” embodies the soulful sophistication and dancefloor perfection of late-70s New York. This long-overdue reissue celebrates one of the most essential underground disco records ever made — a timeless statement about survival, groove, and soul that remains as relevant today as it was in 1982. With original copies going for over £150, this official reissue is essential for any collector. Remastered from the tapes.
